Obituary: Mrs. Jini Mathew (1955-2013)

Mrs. Jini Mathew, the fourth child of the late Mr. Abraham Mathew and the late Mrs. Kunjamma Mathew, was fifty-seven years of age.
Her childhood was in Konni, but she was raised in Nilambur (Edakkara). She worked and lived in Mumbai before marrying Mr. Baby Mathew in 1978. They moved as a family to Singapore in 1989, migrated to the U.S. in 1998, and moved to Michigan in 1999. She was a devoted wife and mother who actively participated in church activities. She was a very prayerful woman who valued truth and honesty in everything. Devoting all her time and energies to raising her children brought her immense joy. Her love for others was manifested in every aspect of her life. She enjoyed music, the arts, movies, traveling, cooking and having family & friends over. She was lovingly called “Kochamma” by young and old here in Michigan. Her genuine, kind, loving and forgiving persona will always be remembered.
Mrs. Mathew is survived by her loving husband Mr. Baby Mathew, son Rev. Fr. Mathew T. Mathew (Shaun), and her daughter and son-in-law Mrs. Sharon & Mr. Davis Mathew. She is also survived by three brothers, four sisters and their families.
